Upside-Down Ground Beef Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 pkg. corn muffin mix
  • 1 can sandwich sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in skillet. Break meat up while cooking. Drain off excess drippings.
  2. Add sauce to meat; cook until thoroughly heated.
  3. Spread mixture over bottom of buttered 9-inch pie plate.
  4. Mix corn muffin mix according to directions. Spread evenly over top of meat mixture. Bake in a 375° oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Test for doneness.
  5. Cool before serving.
  6. Serve warm! Serves 4 to 6.
