Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease loaf pan. Mix sugar, butter and egg.
  3. Stir in milk.
  4. Stir in dry ingredients.
  5. Blend in nuts. Bake 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
