- Preheat the oven to 325°, then grease the baking pan.
- Measure the butter into the mixing bowl.
- Add powdered sugar to the butter.
- Mix thoroughly and then add the vanilla.
- Add the flour and knead the mixture with your hands until it forms one smooth lump.
- Press the dough into a baking pan.
- Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Prick the dough lightly with a fork.
- Put the baking pan in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Cut them into squares with a knife.
- Put the squares aside to cool.
