Ingredients

  • 2 (6-inch) pita bread rounds
  • 1/2 (8 oz.) can herbed or plain tomato sauce
  • 1 cup cooked vegetables (such as broccoli, mushrooms, cauliflower, green pepper, asparagus or green beans)
  • 1/2 cup shredded part skim mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Split each pita bread round horizontally to create four rounds.
  2. Place the pita rounds on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake in a 450°F oven for 2 to 3 minutes or until dry and crisp.
  4. Spread each pita round with tomato sauce.
  5. Arrange cooked vegetables on top of each pita.
  6. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in the 450°F oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese melts and the pizzas are heated through.
