- Parboil the rabbit pieces in a large kettle with enough water to cover for 45 minutes, adding salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the water.
- Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over the bottom of a large roaster and place the parboiled rabbit pieces inside.
- Sprinkle parsley flakes and the seasoning envelope over the rabbit pieces.
- Mix the cream of mushroom soup, golden mushroom soup, and half and half together and pour the mixture over the rabbit.
- Cover the roaster and bake at 300°F for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, basting and turning the pieces every 45 minutes.
- Uncover near the end of cooking to brown the rabbit if necessary.
