Ingredients

  • 1 lb. string beans
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and vinegar together in a bowl.
  2. Bring the string beans and oil to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the vinegar and sugar mixture to the beans.
  4. Simmer until the beans are tender.
