Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup washed violet petals
  • 1/2 jar honey

Instructions

  1. Stir violet petals into honey.
  2. Place the jar on a cloth in a pan of water filled to the neck of the jar.
  3. Bring the water to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the jar from the water and leave to cool.
  5. Infuse the honey with violets for 7 days.
  6. Warm the honey, strain out the violets, and pour into a clean jar.
