Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. cornflakes
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Crush cornflakes to make 1 cup.
  2. Beat egg whites, adding sugar gradually, until stiff and glossy.
  3. Fold in salt, cocoa, vanilla, cornflakes and walnuts.
  4. Drop tablespoons 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets.
  5. Bake at 300° for 25 minutes.
  6. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
