Ingredients

  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. shortening

Instructions

  1. Work the first seven ingredients into a dough and add the rest of the flour.
  2. Place the dough in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  3. Shape the dough into rolls and let them rise for 2 hours.
  4. Bake at 450°F until golden brown.
