Welsh Salad Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/2 teacup milk
  • 1/2 teacup warm water
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 teacup vinegar

Instructions

  1. Mix egg, sugar, salt and pepper together.
  2. Add flour and mustard.
  3. Keep it a nice smooth paste.
  4. Add melted butter, milk, water and lastly vinegar.
  5. Cook over low heat until as thick as cream.
  6. Do not boil.
  7. Keep in refrigerator.
