Instructions
- Beat egg with enough milk to equal 2/3 cup.
- Add to sifted dry ingredients, then add currants.
- Add Crisco.
- Mix thoroughly. Drop onto cookie sheet.
- Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
- Enjoy with tea!
- Makes 12 scones.
