Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 6 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 tsp. soda (baking)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl; set aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix all liquid ingredients, then make a well in your dry ingredients and add 1/2 the liquid into bowl.
  3. Stir until smooth, then add the rest of liquid and mix until smooth.
  4. Mixture will be thin.
  5. Pour into ungreased, unfloured 13 x 9-inch pan.
  6. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
