Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines butter cake mix
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, sour cream, and sugar.
  3. Add oil, water, and eggs to the mixture.
  4. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds until moistened.
  5. Increase to medium speed and beat for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in chopped nuts and chocolate sprinkles.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake in the oven for 60 minutes or until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
