Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 1/2 cup butter or oleo
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons milk or water

Instructions

  1. Cream Crisco and butter together in a bowl.
  2. Add powdered sugar, milk or water, and vanilla to the creamed mixture.
  3. Blend on medium speed until well mixed.
  4. To make chocolate icing, add 1/4 cup cocoa and 1 tablespoon or more of milk or water to the mixture.
