Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. wine (Mogen David sweet wine)
  • 1/2 c. rice
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix water, wine, rice, raisins, salt, and sugar in a double boiler.
  2. Cook for 45 minutes until the rice is tender and the flavors meld.
  3. Add additional sugar if desired and sprinkle cinnamon on top when serving.
