Homemade yogurt offers a creamy, tangy flavor perfect for breakfast or snacks, suitable for all ages and easy to customize with added fruits or honey.
Ingredients
- regular yogurt
- regular or 2% milk ⓘ
Instructions
- Boil milk until it comes to a boil, then take it off the stove and pour into a bowl.
- Add the existing yogurt (starter) to the cooled milk.
- Allow the boiled milk to cool down to a temperature where you can count to ten while it is still hot but not too hot.
- Mix the cooled milk with the starter yogurt thoroughly.
- Cover the bowl well and leave it undisturbed for 2 hours or more to ferment.
