- Grease muffin tins very generously.
- Set the tins in the refrigerator to chill.
- Mix eggs, milk, salt, and flour together with a wire whisk or fork very vigorously until well blended.
- Fill the cold tins one-third or one-half full with the batter.
- Place the tins with batter in a cold oven.
- Turn the oven to 450°F and bake for 25 minutes.
- Insert a toothpick into the top of each popover after baking to release steam.
