Ingredients

  • 3 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. whole cloves
  • 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 gal. apple cider or apple juice
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Tie spices in cheesecloth or tea strainer and place in slow cooker.
  2. Add apple cider (or juice) and sugar, stirring well. Cover.
  3. Simmer on low for 1 hour.
  4. Remove spices and stir in orange juice and lemon juice.
  5. Continue heating for 1 more hour.
  6. Serve cider from cooker set on low.
