Instructions
- Cover the kraut with water and boil for 25 minutes.
- Pour off the water and sprinkle with flour.
- Stir well and cook a little longer.
- Serve with pork cracklings or crumbled bacon.
- Kraut may be seasoned with 1 to 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 teaspoon caraway or celery seed.
