Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 box Rice-A-Roni Spanish rice
  • 1 (8 oz) container sour cream
  • 16 oz prepared spaghetti sauce
  • 4 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 6 oz shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Core the cabbage, place it in a plastic bag, and microwave for approximately 25 minutes. If not fully cooked, microwave for an additional 5 minutes.
  2. Let the cabbage cool.
  3. Prepare the rice according to the package instructions in a microwave dish and let it cool.
  4. Spread about 1 inch of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of a lasagna dish.
  5. Separate the cabbage leaves, pulling off one at a time.
  6. Take one cabbage leaf and spread it out.
  7. Place one large spoon of rice and one teaspoon of sour cream on the leaf.
  8. Fold in the sides and roll up the leaf.
  9. Repeat with remaining leaves and place the rolled cabbage in the dish with the sauce.
  10. Cover the cabbage rolls with the remaining sauce.
  11. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar and Mozzarella cheeses on top.
  12. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
