Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 jar marshmallow cream

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, evaporated milk, and butter in a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Bring the mixture to a full boil (235°F) and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, marshmallow cream, vanilla, and chopped nuts if using.
  4. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the mixture into a large buttered pan and let it cool.
  6. Once cooled, cut into pieces and garnish with additional chopped nuts if desired.
