Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 packages yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 stick softened oleo

Instructions

  1. Mix 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm milk, water, and softened oleo to the mixture.
  3. Beat with a mixer for 2 minutes.
  4. Add 1/2 cup of flour and beat for another 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
  6. Knead the dough until smooth.
  7. Let rise in a greased bowl for 15 minutes.
  8. Shape into dinner rolls or cinnamon rolls.
  9. Let rise in the pan for an additional 15 minutes.
  10. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes until golden brown.
