13 Crackers Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup chili sauce
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped bell peppers
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 dash salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 13 saltine crackers, crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (yes 325°F).
  2. Whisk together the egg, chili sauce, milk and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Stir in the onion and bell pepper.
  4. Crumble the ground beef over the mixture, and sprinkle with the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  5. Stir all together with spoon.
  6. Add the crumbled crackers and mix well with hands.
  7. Form into a loaf and place in the perforated top portion of a meatloaf pan.
  8. Set into the bottom pan.
  9. Smooth the top and then spread a thin layer, about 1 TB, of chili sauce evenly over the top.
  10. Bake for one hour.
