Ingredients

  • 5 cups berries
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

Instructions

  1. Place berries, sugar, and vinegar in a large pot.
  2. Cook on low heat until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes on high.
  4. Skim off any foam from the surface.
  5. Let the mixture stand for 4 to 6 hours.
  6. Transfer the preserves into jars and seal.
  7. Makes approximately 2 1/2 pints.
