Ingredients

  • olive oil
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
  • oregano
  • spaghetti sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In an 8 to 9-inch frying pan, lightly cover the bottom with olive oil.
  2. Saute garlic until heated.
  3. Add the minced clams, including juice, and cover with a light coating of oregano.
  4. If making red clam sauce, add 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce now.
  5. Bring to a boil, stirring often.
  6. Serve over pasta.
