Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 onion
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups canned tomatoes with juice
  • 1 pint corn, drained

Instructions

  1. Put onion and ground beef in skillet; cook over moderate heat.
  2. Stir and turn until meat has browned.
  3. Stir in canned tomatoes with juice, drained corn, uncooked rice, and salt into the meat mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
