Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups graham crackers
  • 14 oz. can condensed milk
  • 6 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 1/2 oz. coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Grease sides of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  2. Melt butter and pour into the prepared pan.
  3. Add the crushed graham crackers to the melted butter and spread evenly over the butter.
  4. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the graham cracker layer.
  5. Spread semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly over the milk layer.
  6. Spread coconut over the chocolate chips.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the coconut layer.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes. If using a glass pan, bake at 325°F for the same duration.
  9. Bars should be lightly browned. Chill in the pan for at least 4 hours.
  10. Cut into 2-inch squares before serving.
