Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using whole milk instead of skim. If you're out of yeast, you can substitute with baking powder (use 1 tablespoon for every package of yeast) but the texture will differ. Make sure the water is not too hot to avoid killing the yeast. Kneading the dough briefly can help develop a better texture. For a sweet twist, add a bit of cinnamon or nutmeg to the dough.

Serving Suggestions

These yeast rolls are perfect for a family dinner or holiday gathering. Serve them warm with butter or alongside a dish like Good And Easy Stew for a comforting meal. They also pair beautifully with soups and salads. For a sweet touch, enjoy them with jam or honey at breakfast, or even alongside dessert like Classic Sour Cream Cheese Cake.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, place them in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat, wrap the rolls in aluminum foil and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes until warm.
