90 Minute Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. dry yeast (2 Tbsp.)
  • 1 c. flour (all-purpose or bread)
  • 2/3 c. dry powdered milk
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. soft margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water

Instructions

  1. Stir yeast, flour, milk, sugar and salt together.
  2. Add margarine and water.
  3. Mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in 3 cups flour. Cover and let rise 15 minutes.
  5. Turn out on floured board; knead until it doesn't stick to hands.
  6. Pat or roll out to about 3/4-inch thickness.
  7. Cut with glass or biscuit cutter.
  8. Put on greased cookie sheet.
  9. Let rise 15 minutes.
  10. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
