Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg white
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar (10x sugar)

Instructions

  1. Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press firmly in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Mix together cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the rolled-out dough in the pan.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place on top of the cheese mixture.
  5. Brush the top layer with beaten egg white.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool.
  8. Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk until smooth.
  9. Spread the glaze over the cooled Danish.
  10. Chill overnight before serving.
