Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/4 cup butter or oleo
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine brown sugar, milk, and butter in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook for a few minutes until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in sifted powdered sugar and vanilla until well blended.
  4. Let the icing cool slightly before spreading over cakes or cinnamon rolls.
