Ingredients

  • 4 lb. beef sirloin
  • 3 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
  • 4 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 3 c. Burgundy wine

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Place beef cubes, dry onion soup mix, and Burgundy wine in an oven-safe dish or Dutch oven.
  3. Cover and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 3 hours.
  4. Stir the mixture often during baking.
  5. About 15 minutes before cooking time is up, add the cans of mushrooms.
  6. Serve over rice.
