Alabama Trash is a sweet, creamy, and crunchy treat featuring coconut, pecans, and chocolate, perfect for parties or satisfying a decadent dessert craving.

Ingredients

  • chocolate morsels
  • powdered sugar
  • paraffin wax
  • pecans
  • margarine
  • coconut
  • milk

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine and add pecans to it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, sift powdered sugar and add milk.
  3. Mix well until combined.
  4. Add coconut to the mixture.
  5. Mix and then add the pecan mixture.
  6. Mix everything thoroughly.
  7. Roll the mixture into balls and place on wax paper.
  8. Cool in the refrigerator for at least one hour, preferably overnight.
  9. Melt chocolate morsels and paraffin wax in the top of a double boiler.
  10. Take 6 to 8 balls out of the refrigerator at a time.
  11. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate using a toothpick until fully covered.
  12. Place the dipped balls on wax paper to set.
