Ingredients

  • 1 lb ham, bacon, or broccoli
  • 6 slices bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13-inch or 9 x 9-inch pan.
  2. Layer bread in the pan and add ham, bacon, or vegetables like broccoli on top.
  3. Mix half and half, eggs, and dry mustard in a bowl.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the layered bread and meat or vegetables.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese on top.
  6. Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours or overnight before baking.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes until set and golden.
