Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 ounces pasta
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente according to package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add heavy cream, garlic powder, and black pepper to the melted butter.
  4. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes or until it thickens.
  5. When the sauce has reached the desired consistency, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Drain the cooked pasta and serve it on plates.
  7. Pour the Alfredo sauce over the pasta before serving.
