Almost A Symphony Cake

- Mix cake mix according to directions, using milk instead of water. Bake in large oblong pan (9 x 13-inch). When cake is done, take out of oven and punch holes in it using a straw.
- Have the sugar and pineapple with juice come to a boil.
- Pour this on hot cake.
- Let cake cool completely.
- Mix cream cheese with mixer and slowly add the cold milk and vanilla pudding mix.
- Spread this on cool cake and let cool in refrigerator a few minutes so pudding will set.
- When set, cover cake completely with sliced bananas. Cover bananas with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with chopped cherries, pecans and coconut. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
