- Put chocolate morsels in a double boiler over boiling water. Stir until melted.
- Separate eggs; whip egg whites until stiff and beat yolks slightly.
- Remove chocolate mixture from stove; add beaten egg yolks, then return to double boiler for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat; fold in small amounts of whipped cream and egg whites until well blended.
- Break half of the angel food cake into bite-sized pieces; arrange in the bottom of an 8 x 8-inch pan.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the angel food cake pieces.
- Chill several hours or overnight.
- Sprinkle with grated chocolate and cut into 9 pieces.
