Instructions
- Sift flour and cream of tartar together.
- Cream sugar and Crisco well and add eggs, flour and buttermilk alternately.
- Put soda in 1 1/2 teaspoons warm water when you start the cake.
- Let set until cake is mixed and add.
- Cook for 1 hour at 325°.
