Creamy, cheesy dip with bold salsa flavor, perfect for parties or snacking, easily customizable with different cheeses or salsa varieties to suit your taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar salsa or picante sauce
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Cut Velveeta cheese into cubes and place all ingredients into a microwavable bowl.
  2. Microwave on High for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  3. Stir after 3 minutes.
  4. Do not cover the bowl, or cheese will burn at the edges.
  5. If the dip is too liquid, add more cheese.
  6. If it is too thick, add milk or salsa, whichever you prefer.
  7. Optional: substitute Monterey Jack cheese for Cheddar.
