Ingredients

  • 1 block Velveeta cheese
  • 8 oz. package cream cheese
  • 1 small can diced black olives
  • 1 small can diced Ortega chilies
  • 1 small can diced jalapenos (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring the cream cheese to room temperature.
  2. Mix cream cheese, diced black olives, and diced Ortega chilies in a medium bowl.
  3. Place the Velveeta cheese block between two layers of Saran Wrap or waxed paper and roll into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the Velveeta.
  5. Using the bottom layer of paper, roll the cheese into a log shape.
  6. Place the log on a serving dish seam side down.
  7. Trim the ends evenly.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least three hours.
  9. Serve with crackers.
