Crazy Crunch is a sweet, crunchy treat combining caramelized sugar and nuts with fluffy popped corn, perfect for snacking or sharing at parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 qt. popped corn
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 2/3 c. almonds
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Pop the corn and mix with nuts on cookie sheets.
  2. Combine sugar, butter, and light corn syrup in a 1 1/2-quart saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  4. Continue cooking and stir occasionally for 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture turns light caramel color.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the corn and nuts and mix.
