Ingredients

  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 egg whites, beaten stiff

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except egg whites and spread in the graham cracker crust.
  2. Fold in beaten egg whites gently into the mixture.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in the crust.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
  5. Top with whipped cream or ice cream if desired before serving.
