Ingredients

  • 6 or 7 sliced apples
  • cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Put sliced apples in a greased baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon and 1/2 cup brown sugar.
  2. Add water over the apple mixture.
  3. Melt butter and combine it with 1/2 cup brown sugar and flour to make the topping.
  4. Mix well and spread the topping evenly over the apples, pressing it down firmly.
  5. Bake in a 350°F oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour until golden and bubbly.
  6. Serve warm with cream.
