Ingredients

  • 1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. spice or cake mix
  • 1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Blend together cake mix, pie filling, and eggs in a large mixer bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Combine sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Spread half the batter in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan; sprinkle with half the cinnamon-sugar. Repeat with remaining batter and cinnamon-sugar.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until a wooden pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  7. Cool.
