Apple-Cinnamon Pudding

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples, sliced
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • dash of salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Slice apples into a 9 x 9-inch square pan. Combine flour, sugar and baking powder. Add egg and salt. Cover the apples with the flour mixture. Mix cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar.
  2. Sprinkle over the dough. Sprinkle 1/4 cup water and 2 teaspoons butter. Bake at 350° until apples are cooked and top is lightly browned.
