Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 2/3 cups applesauce
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10-inch Bundt pan and dust with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  2. Blend the sugar and cinnamon to prepare the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  3. In a bowl, combine cake mix with applesauce and eggs; beat well until smooth.
  4. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of batter and pour the remaining batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter in the pan.
  6. Pour the reserved batter over the cinnamon-sugar layer in the pan.
  7. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before removing.
