Sweet and flaky apple dumplings with a tender biscuit crust, soaked in a buttery sugar syrup, perfect for comforting dessert cravings or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 to 7 medium apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 can biscuits
  • 10 oz. 7-Up
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Roll out the biscuits.
  2. Place about 1 tablespoon of chopped apples in the center of each biscuit, fold to seal, and shape into dumplings.
  3. Place the dumplings into a baking dish.
  4. Bring the 7-Up, margarine, and sugar to a boil in a saucepan.
  5. Pour the hot syrup over the dumplings in the baking dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
