Ingredients

  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire

Instructions

  1. Brown 1 to 1 1/2 pounds chopped beef in a skillet until tender.
  2. Mix all sauce ingredients: tomato sauce, water, chopped celery, prepared mustard, ketchup, chopped onion, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Simmer the sauce on low heat until the onion and celery are tender.
  4. Cook 2 to 3 cups of rice according to package instructions.
  5. Place cooked rice on a serving dish in the center.
  6. Arrange the cooked beef around the rice.
  7. Pour the prepared sauce over the meat before serving.
