Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar, divided
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 4 c. sliced apples
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/3 c. condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. nuts
  • 1 1/3 c. flaked coconut

Instructions

  1. Cut butter into flour, sugar and salt until crumbly.
  2. Press into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Arrange apples on top and sprinkle lemon juice on top.
  4. Combine sugar and cinnamon on top.
  5. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
  6. Combine remaining sugar with remaining ingredients and spoon over.
  7. Bake another 20 minutes.
