Apple Mince Walnut Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 dash Nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoons Salt
  • 4 cups Apples, Peeled And Chopped
  • 3 cups Prepared Mincemeat
  • 1/2 cups Chopped Walnuts
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • Pastry For 9" Double Crust Pie

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, flour, spices and salt in bowl.
  2. Add apples, mix lightly.
  3. Add mincemeat and walnuts, mix.
  4. Heap into pastry lined 9-inch pie pan, dot with butter. Adjust top crust, flute edges, cut vents.
  5. Brush top crust with milk, sprinkle with sugar.
  6. Bake in 425 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until crust is browned and apples are tender. Cool on rack.
